Juice Detox
If you plan on going for a liquid detox, a vegetable and fruit juice detox would be a better alternative to the water detox as you still get to take in useful vitamins, nutrients and antioxidants, which a water detox does not have. A juice detox involves drinking only raw vegetable and fruit juices with some water for about three days. The juice detox is usually done during the warmer months of the year as the colder months needs you to take in solid foods to keep your body warm.

Juice Fasting
About 32 to 64 ounces of juice is recommended to be consumed per day during the fast and citrus fruits are often avoided to minimize the risk of your stomach from being too acidic. You should also consume about six eight-ounce glasses of room-warm water which is also recommended in addition to the juice. It is also better to drink a combination of fruit and vegetable juices rather than just fruit or vegetable.
