Water Detox
Water is a very important part of our diet and is responsible for diluting toxins and waste products to facilitate their secretion from our body system as well as clearing excessive fats from our bloodstreams. It is also responsible for regulating and maintaining our body temperature and lubricating our joints. Water also serves as a transportation for nutrients, hormones, and chemical substances throughout our tissues and body system. Water also provide our brain and our spinal cord with adequate amounts of fluids to fully coat it for protection. Due to these benefits, many people drink a lot of water and even use it to detoxify the body. Instead of taking anything else, they only drink water for several days. Studies show that the body can still survive months on water alone, however there are common side effects like tiredness, headaches and even fever.

But this will all go away after the body adapts to it. Before starting on this diet, you have to make sure that you are not going to be doing any strenuous activities during the days to come. It is also preferred that the water you use when on the diet is distilled water as this has the least amount of heavy metals, mineral salts, harmful trace elements and pollutants as compared to tap water or even mineral water. Knowing some meditations and prayers would also be helpful to focus your mind on something else rather than the cravings of hunger.
